Big Blu Soul Revue is San Francisco Soul, Rhythm and Blues music. The band blends an amazing mix of classic and modern Soul, Blues, Dance, Funk, a bit of Jazz, Rock and more. Their music brings sounds inspired by music legends like Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers and much more. This diverse band's music will have you both shaking it on the dance floor with their upbeat dance songs... as well as touch your heart with their soft, sultry ballads.
The group features long-time Bay Area guitarist & vocalist Jason Movrich (The Mission Players). He brings his Chicago blues inspired sound to mix with the West Coast Jazz, Soul and Funk. Also featuring vocalist C. Fan, her incredible voice is reminiscent of a young Aretha Franklin with a mix of modern Soul sounds of Amy Winehouse and Sharon Jones. Long-time Keyboardist Tom Marottolo adds his tasty, soulful flavor to the mix.
